Mr. Daniel Golding
President

Daniel Golding (TCOM MS Student) - BS in Mechanical Engineering, Auburn University, Have worked in the industry for 6 years as a network engineer for service providers, most recently was on the AOL Backbone Architecture team as Peering Manager. Co-Author of "Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices" from McGraw-Hill, and currently a Telecom industry analyst for The Burton Group (www.burtongroup.com).

Ms. Patti Nordby
Vice President of Events & Webmaster

Patti Nordby (ISA MS Student) - BSIN Information Systems Technology with a minor in Multimedia. I graduated with high distinction from George Mason University in 2002. Currently, I am a student in the M.S. of Information Security and Assurance program with a concentration in Network Security. I will also receive a certificate in Information Systems Security. I am also graduate teaching assistant and course webmaster for New Century College. In the past, I was also the Webmaster for Telemed Inc. and for a faculty member in the Graduate School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Mr. Arash Habibzadeh
Vice President of Communication

Arash Habibzadeh (TCOM MS Student) - this is his last semester in the TCOM program. He has also been
accepted into the Ph.D program here at George Mason. On a side note, he also works at George Mason University for the Vice President of Equity and Diversity Officer. He has been here for about 4 years now and he knows the president and most of all the VP's here at George Mason.

Mr. Poriya Moazzami
Secretary & Treasurer

Poriya Moazzami (TCOM MS Student) spent his undergrad at University of Maryland, College Park, currently second year TCOM MS student while working full time at MCI. He held several positions at numerous student organizations, including the presidency of Iranian Students' Foundation (ISF) at College Park where Worked with membership of over nine hundred students and budget of over twenty thousand dollars. He also interned at National Institute of Health (NIH) as a research assistance; his work resulted in publication of Analysis of Variance on Micro and Macro Environment for Micro Static Isolators. He enjoys Histroy, Soccer, Tennis, Ski, and loves discussing politics.

Ms. Teresa Dietrich Gurney
Past President

Teresa Dietrich Gurney recently graduated from the MS in Telecommunications program and received the program award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. She has been accepted into the Ph.D. in IT&E program and plans to continue to focus on network protocols and technology. She spent her undergraduate years at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. She has been with America Online in Network Operations as either an intern or employee since 1997. She is currently a member of the Network Architecture group at AOL. While not working or studying, Teresa enjoys participating in local 10K and 10 mile races, reading, softball and volleyball.
