Fairfax Campus from the Capital Beltway (I-495)

Take exit 54, Braddock Road (Route 620), and take the westbound fork. Follow Braddock Road West for approximately six miles. Pass the first entrance to the university and turn right at the stop light at Roanoke River Road. Bear right at the fork in the road. Take your first left onto Mason Pond Drive; parking is available in the Parking Deck, the last building on the right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help you navigate the campus.

Fairfax Campus via I-66E from Front Royal

Exit at the Fairfax County Parkway South (Route 7100). Exit the Parkway at Braddock Road, take the left fork, and turn left onto Braddock Road. Take the first left past Route 123 (Ox Road) onto Roanoke River Road. Bear right at the fork in the road. Take the first left on Mason Pond Drive to the Parking Deck, the last building on your right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help navigate the campus.

Fairfax Campus via I-66E from Washington, DC or Arlington

Take exit 60 at Route 123 South, Chain Bridge Road. Follow Route 123 through the City of Fairfax, and turn left at University Drive. Take your first right at Occoquan River Lane. Turn right at the stop sign onto Patriot Circle. At the pond, bear left to stay on Patriot Circle. Take your first left on Mason Pond Drive to the Parking Deck, the last building on your right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help navigate the campus.

Fairfax Campus from I-95 (North or South)

From points north on I-95, take exit 27 (I-495 West), then follow the directions "from the Capital Beltway (I-495)." From points south on I-95, take exit 160B (Route 123 North) at Lake Ridge/Occoquan. Follow Route 123 north for approximately 15 miles to Braddock Road. Turn right on Braddock Road. At first signal, turn left on Roanoke River Road. Bear right at the fork in the road. Take your first left onto Mason Pond Drive to the Parking Deck, the last building on your right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help navigate the campus.

Fairfax Campus from Washington, DC & Arlington via Route 50

Take Route 50 west to I-495 South (Capital Beltway) toward Richmond. Take exit 54, Braddock Road West (Route 620), and take the westbound fork. Follow Braddock Road West for approximately 6 miles. Fairfax Campus from Washington Dulles International Airport

Exit the airport onto the Dulles Access Road, which leads to the Dulles Toll Road at Route 267, Reston Parkway. Exit the Dulles Toll Road (no toll required) at exit 11, Fairfax County Parkway. Follow the Parkway, and exit at Braddock Road. Stay to the left, and turn left on Braddock Road. Take the first left past Route 123 onto Roanoke River Road, and go right at the fork in the road. Take your first left onto Mason Pond Drive to the Parking Deck, the last building on your right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help navigate the campus.

Fairfax Campus from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport

When exiting the airport, follow the signs to Washington, DC North and to the George Washington Parkway north, to I-395. Once on G.W. Parkway, stay in the middle lane to enter I-395 south to Richmond. Immediately move left 3 lanes to remain on I-395 south. Exit I-395 at I-495 North (exit 1C) to Rockville. Exit I-495 at exit 54, Braddock Road West, and take the westbound fork. Follow Braddock Road West for approximately 6 miles. Pass the first entrance to the University and turn right at the next light at Roanoke River Road. Bear right at the fork in the road. Turn left on Mason Pond Drive; parking is available in the Parking Deck, the last building on the right. Fairfax Campus from Vienna Metro Station

Take the CUE Bus (any of the routes stop at GMU). The CUE Bus is free with a valid GMU identification card and $.50 per person otherwise. If traveling by car, exit the Vienna Metro on Nutley Avenue South (243). Follow Nutley to Route 29 and turn right. At Route 50 (Arlington Blvd.), turn right. Stay on Route 50 to Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) and turn left. Follow Route 123 through the City of Fairfax to University Drive, then turn left. Take your first right at Occoquan RIver Lane. Turn right at the stop sign onto Patriot Circle. At the pond, bear left to stay on Patriot Circle. Take your first left on Mason Pond Drive to the Parking Deck, the last building on your right. An information kiosk is located outside the third level of the deck to help navigate the campus.

Arlington Campus (3401 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington) from Washington, DC

Cross over the Roosevelt Bridge; follow signs to the George Washington Parkway. Once on the parkway, exit at Spout Run (left exit). Cross over Route 29 (Lee Highway). Spout Run is now Kirkwood Road. Cross over Washington Boulevard. The Arlington Campus is on the right, at North Fairfax Drive.

Arlington Campus (3401 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington) from I-66 heading east

Exit I-66 at Glebe Road/North Fairfax Drive (exit 71). The exit ramp turns into North Fairfax Drive. After traveling one mile on North Fairfax Drive, you will see the FDIC building on the left. The Arlington Campus is next to the FDIC facility.

Arlington Campus (3401 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington) from I-66 heading west

Exit I-66 at Glebe Road (exit 71). Turn left onto Washington Boulevard. Stay on Washington Boulevard until you pass the Giant Supermarket; then turn right onto Kirkwood Road. The Arlington Campus is on the right, at North Fairfax Drive.

Arlington Campus (3401 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington) from I-395

Exit I-395 at Glebe Road North. Continue on Glebe Road, passing Ballston Common Mall on the right. Cross over Wilson Boulevard, then turn right onto North Fairfax Drive. After one mile you will see the FDIC building on the left. The Arlington Campus is next to the FDIC facility.

Arlington Campus (3401 N. Fairfax Dr., Arlington) by Metro

Take the Orange Line to the Virginia Square/GMU station. Take the escalator to the street level, and turn to face North Fairfax Drive. Across the street and to the right, you will see the FDIC building. The Arlington Campus is next door.

Prince William Campus (10900 University Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110) from East or West along I-66 and points North

From I-66 (exit 49 off I-495) take the Route 234 South exit (exit 44). You will see signs directing you to George Mason University. Go 4.3 miles past the second signal, and turn left on University Boulevard. Turn at the first left to enter the campus.

Prince William Campus (10900 University Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110) from I-95 & eastern Prince William County

Take Route 234 north to Manassas City. Turn left at Route 28. Turn right on Godwin Drive. Turn left on University Blvd. Prince William Academic Buildings I and II are on your right.

CIT Building (2214 Rock Hill Rd., Herndon)

From I-495, take the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267) towards Dulles Airport. Exit at Route 28, and turn right at the top of the exit. Take the next right on Innovation Road. Take first left onto Rock Hill Road, then an immediate left into the CIT Building Complex. Ample parking is in the garage.
