Majors at MasonMason is home to 243 different majors, all of which have their own unique opportunities and experiences. These majors are all listed and thoroughly described on Mason's various websites, but this isn't always the most effective way to communicate this information to students with various different learning styles. This is why F1rst Gen made it our mission to take the next step and host a video series wherein we interviewed students and faculty within each major to learn more about what each major entails, and to share this information with all George Mason students. The goal of this project was to document information about every single major in order to give students another key resource that will help with their overall success in college.

F1rst Gen Leadership SeriesGeorge Mason has a variety of different leadership positions for students to take part in. These jobs are great for building both teamwork and leadership skills. In order to help first generation students acquire and succeed in these positions, each video in this series covered a different leadership position including Resident Advisor, Patriot Leader and Mason Ambassadors.

These resources range from software to make course projects easier to complete to registration tools to make the process of picking classes a breeze. F1rst Gen Mason created F1rst Gen Tutorials in order to make these resources more aware to first generation students. These tutorials cover different aspects of the resources provided by Mason and how to access and use them.
