826DC is a DC non-profit that works with DC students to develop their individual voice through various writing programs. They are dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write. They have many ways for people to get involved in both long-term and short-term ways. If you have any questions about how to get involved with these programs, please email the organization’s Volunteer Engagement Specialist, Kelsey McClure, at volunteer@826dc.org
