Secondary Education English Minor

This minor is offered by the College of Education and Human Development, specifically the Graduate School of Education .

This 21-credit minor, available only to student enrolled in the BA in English program, provides undergraduates with background knowledge in Secondary Education English.  Students enrolled in this minor must earn a grade of B or higher in all coursework. Completing this minor fulfills requirements for licensure in Secondary Education English (6-12) in Virginia.  Eight credits of course work must be unique to the minor. Individuals must be formally admitted to this program to begin the course sequence.
