ME 320 - Fluid Mechanics

Introduces fundamental concepts of basic and applied fluid mechanics. Topics include fluid properties, statics, kinematics, and dynamics; Bernoulli equation; conservation laws; inviscid and viscous incompressible flow. Also, dimensional analysis and similitude, laminar and turbulent flow, internal and external flow, boundary layers, separation, wakes, drag, and flow measurement. Introduces turbomachinery with applications.

Prerequisite(s): ENGR 307. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.
