IT 214 - Database Fundamentals

Credits: 3 (NR)
Introduces relational database management systems and their applications. Students learn about types of databases, data modeling, designing relational databases, normalization and relationships, and recent trends in database management. Students apply learned concepts using modern database applications to create tables, queries, forms, and reports.

Prerequisite(s): IT 103; or permission of department. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.
