AVT 243 - Printmaking I

Credits: 4 (NR)
Introduction to basics of hand printing. Emphasis on translation and transferral of images, tools, equipment, and technical skills for making a well-defined print. Students explore drawing, synthesis, and multiplicity in this interactive and collaborative course. Presentations and field trips focus on aesthetic and cultural concerns of making multiple images.

Fulfills general education requirement in arts.
