HAP 716 - Health Information Systems

Credits: 3
Introduces the students to information systems at all levels of healthcare delivery. Explores departmental information applications currently deployed in care delivery settings and trends and innovations in information technology systems. Examines contemporary management structures for information systems in health care organizations. Laboratory time provides learning experience in various applied situations.
