Join Asa and pay dues? Did I hear you say, what's in it for me? Someone asked me
that same question at our first meeting this semester and I
have to say for the first five minutes I couldn't think of a good reason apart getting a
"warm fuzzy feeling in your stomach that you have done the right thing." Now I
know most people don't care about any warm feelings in their stomach, so I started
thinking about it and came up with these benefits that YOU get from joining Asa and PAYING
your dues.

| Discounted entrance fee to Asa parties (paid members only) |
| Good on your resume (doesn't single-handedly get you the job, but believe me it helps) |
| Recognition given to active members at our Awards Nite at the end of the year (looks
good on walls) |
| Opportunity to volunteer to help the community (another great resume builder) |
| A feeling that you did the right thing |
If I think of more, I will put them up here. I did this at 6am in the morning so
can't quite remember everything yet :-)
