EPSILON PHI - GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY
Our chapter was chartered on November 11th, 1989, at George Mason University.
Through the years following our chartering leading up to now, we have remained in
good standing not only with our national office, but the university as well. In the
coming Fall semester of 2009 we will be proudly celebrating our Twentieth year anniversary.
Amongst our day-to-day fraternity activities, the Epsilon Phi chapter strives for
academic excellence and lends a helping hand to various philanthropies, one of which
being the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Kappa Alpha Order's national philanthropy.
We currently have 26 active brothers in our chapter.
The men of Kappa Alpha Order are known as the gentlemen of the fraternity world.
Along with such a distinction, one that was gradually earned and not self-appointed,
Kappa Alpha is an order because its members are bound by the same ideal and philosophy
of life. We strive to to offer reverence to both God and woman, a desire embodied
by our motto, "Dieu et les Dames." Furthermore we sharpen ourselves with the idea
that, "Excellence is Our Aim," in that we seek to ever improve ourselves in our pursuit
of excellence. Kappa Alpha Order does not intend to indoctrinate these ideas upon
anyone, but rather believes individuals have an idea of the above values before joining,
thus bonding together men in brotherhood who hold these values true.
