The lives of American boys and
billions of our taxpaying citizens dollars have been poured into Europe for
over a hundred years, and what do we have to show for it? Good question! Tbe Press recently ran an article about the EU.
It stated that the bureaucrats in Brussels have
now passed a law the is a harbinger of things to come. It provides for a
$5000 fine and jail time for anyone who uses the Anglo–American measurement
words ounces, pounds, inches, feet and so forth in commerce inside the
European Common Market. This kind of criminalization of choice smacks of the same kind of totalitarianism that Europe has been
famous for the world over. Freedom and Europe are almost contradictory terms.
And everywhere you turn you are beginning to find the heavy hand of Nazism,
Communism, Fascism and Socialism emerging. As Europe feels it is getting out
from under the supervision of the United States it is in danger of returning
to its own vomit. |
PAGE {2} Freedom has never had a friend in Europe, and it is high time that the UK and the Nordic countries of
northern Europe think in terms of getting out while the getting is good.
England, Scandinavia, Russia and those who think as they do need to take
contingency steps to abandon Europe to its Socialistic mess, and join with
America in NAFTA. Instead of North
American Free Trade Association we should just
change the name slightly by changing the word American to Atlantic. Thus we
would have the North Atlantic Free Trade Association. The best of
Russia faces out on the North Atlantic thought the Baltic Seas and where
Russia goes her Orthodox brethren will follow. It makes no sense for freedom loving people to be locked in step
with states that barely know the meaning of the word freedom, such as France,
Spain, Italy, Germany and such. |
