Our Purpose:

Present a better alternative viewpoint than the Media and Academia gives us.
To Counter the brainwash and bias that the Press, Newspapers, Magazines, Movies, Television and Radio emits in a steady stream of prejudiced and bigoted thinking of the sort that supports their Liberal viewpoint.
To be truthful, both in fact and in spirit.
To present true objectivity to counter the pretended objectivity of the Media. We DO look at all sides. They look at only one side.
To present truth in place of hypocrisy, no matter whom the hypocrites are, whether they are believers or unbelievers, Liberals or Conservatives.
To correctly define hypocrisy: It is not saying one thing and doing another. Saying one thing and doing another may be unfortunate, but it is NOT hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is saying one thing while intentionally meaning something else. It is not act born of the weakness of the flesh, but a form of lying that comes from the corrupted nature of the mind and tongue. Many people may, in good faith, say one thing and do another, and while that may indicate a failing or weakness, it is not hypocritic.
Hypocrisy is the deliberate twisting of truth to deceive another into making a bad decision. Tyrants to “mold” the thinking of the citizenry use it.
Most hypocrisy will be found in the textbooks and teaching of most of the school curriculums K–18 and in the popular books and products of the mass media.

We are trying to present a little more depth, truth, honesty, openness, fairness, ethics, morality, intelligence, purposefulness, admitted (rather than hidden) subjectivity, respect for your intelligence, concern for your future (individually and collectively,) and, yes, patriotism, respect for the best of the past, love of beauty, competence, excellence, good cheer, lightheartedness, respect for nature and nature’s creator, enshrinement of the Constitution, Holy

Books, Bill of Rights, The Mayflower Compact; study of the Great Books, Great Ideas, Great Literature, and yes, Great Men, Yes, Great Men, like, George Washington, George Mason, John Adams, John Marshall, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, Lincoln, Lee, Stonewall Jackson, Calhoun, Booker T. Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, and a host of others of all colors, races, ethnicities, and religions, then this Web Site is for YOU, and your parents, grandparents, and children.

We represent unconventional wisdom (by today’s standards.) Many positions we take are similar to those held by wise teachers of previous centuries, some of them going back thousands of years. Other viewpoints are from wise teachers in present.

Ideas change with the times, sometimes for the worse and sometimes for the better, often depending on how they are interpreted and applied. Education is an inexact science, if it

We are not PC Liberals, or PC Conservatives, or PC Libertarians or any other PC political or religious persuasion that asks, or requires, that we check our brains at the door. Stupidity comes in all sorts of containers.

Religious cult members, and totalitarians of every stripe, Left and Right & Religious may not like the climate of freedom present in this learning institution.

We are a Leadership Forum Coalition that offers an Umbrella to all those individuals and organizations that believe in freedom, and free inquiry, who believe in the statement, “I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”

We are Patriots Voice News, which publishes the news as we see it from the Ivy Halls of George Mason University Campus. We are a student organization and a student publication.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated. The attempt here, as in much of what we publish, is to transmit a focused working knowledge in as concentrated a form as possible.

In this age of information-overload we want our readers to read less with more understanding. We make no pretense, (and that is what it is,) of PC objectivity. We have a viewpoint and it is transparent, not hypocrictic.
