- Local Lix is a music showcase sponsored by DC101. Every last sunday of each month 3 local bands are chosen by DC101's Roche, and other producers. The bands come from the DC-VA-MD area and perform at rotating venues. Local Lix TV is a group of GMU students and friends who have turned this event into a film project for MCN, the web, and distribution. Hosts Miss Martinez and Miss Moore attend each event with their crew to interview the bands, check out the merchandise, and hear some music that pretty much rocks.
