Raymond is a senior at GMU pursuing a B.S. in Health Science with a minor in Management. He is from the capital of Richmond, VA and comes from a talented musical family full of gospel and secular recording artists, composers, and writers. He was appointed church drummer at the age of 9 yrs., and later became assistant choir director at age 14 yrs. at Deliverance Temple Church of God in Christ. He also became a copyrighted gospel writer and composer through his first song “It's the Praises” at 10 yrs. old in September of 1993. He then joined and became head musician and choir director of the youth and adult choir at Family Restoration Church of God in Christ at the age of 16 yrs. He is now serving his second year as head choir director for Mason's own Anointed Voices of Unity Gospel Choir. He is also a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and head musician, praise team leader, and choir director for Fresh Anointing International Christian Ministries in Fairfax, VA.   His favorite gospel artist is the honorable Pastor John P. Kee.  He recognizes that if it had not been for the Lord on his side, he would not be where he is today and he gives God ALL glory and honor. His favorite bible verse is,
